To instill a love and passion for God and His Church through a program of instruction offered in an environment of compassion and Christian responsibility.
Dear Parents,
Welcome to our religious education program! Each year at St. Munchin and St. Aloysius we offer sessions to help children learn more about the Catholic faith and to put their beliefs into practice. Children will learn about how we pray, what we believe, and how to live as a result. I am grateful to you for supporting our program.
This year we are moving religious education to Sunday mornings and scheduling it right after 8:00 o'clock mass. I hope that you will make a commitment to participate in both these events. The weekly mass is a critical part of Catholic life. The proper religious education of children depends on them making the Sunday eucharist the most important hour of their week. You can demonstrate this to them by your own commitment to weekly worship
May God bless your family with gifts of faith, hope and love throughout the coming year.
In Christ,
Rev. Paul Turner, Pastor
Dear Parents,
Welcome to our school of religion programs at St. Munchin and St. Aloysius! We are happy to have a part in the instruction of your children in our Catholic faith. We rely on your participation in this task, as you bring your children to class and accompany them to Mass each week.
We offer classes to four year old preschoolers thru eighth grade, First Penance and Reconciliation and Confirmation Preparation as well as opportunities for adult faith enrichment.
I ask for your prayer for and support of our catechists and students.
Sincerely,
Nancy Hanrahan, Director of Religious Education
